Cloud, the data center of the future

Nowadays, the digital tranformation we are all involved in, has made the companies think about management, evolution, manteinance, and migration of Data Center infraestructures. Data is the business heart, so the Data Center is going to be the key of the businesses communication, and so on consumes lots of resources, both in the personal and economic environment, forced in many cases for the need of a bigger storage capacity.

Companies must dedicate their resources to generate business and allocate budgets and human resources into Data Center, even though this is not always possible for companies. Therefore, more and more organizations are joining the trend of relying on specialized partners that can provide a global solution on a pay-per-use basis, allowing them to focus on their core business knowing that their CPD is in good hands.

SSD Tech

We must be thankful for the irruption of SSD technologies, the new generation of storagement devices for PC's. In these, unlike traditional discs, a memory made up of semiconductors is used to store information, similar to what you can find in other devices, and store more in less space, consuming less power and causing significant savings in the invoices.

We must believe in automation and new software-based technologies from orchestrators and automation: they simplify the hardware scenario and, progressively, eliminate manual processes, optimizing processes, eliminating human errors, improving traceability and homogenizing operational processes.

As major players in this year's CPDs, we will continue talking about hyperconverged systems, 10G, 40G networks, leaf-spine designs to replace the traditional CDA (Core-Distribution-Access), all-flash storage systems and DCIM platforms ( Data Center Infrastructure Management) that allow us to know consumption, temperatures and other operating parameters of the data center in real time in order to be able to link strategic decisions to them.

PFM

Special mention should be made of the PFM, modular prefabricated Data Center products, which allow investment to be aligned with growth, that is, to be able to expand the data center by buying small modules instead of creating a large building and growing within it, like it did before. The Cloud is the Data Center of the future, and large public data centers are already preparing to host it. It is only a matter of time its irruption and overcrowding. Mobile technology, business continuity and information security are key points on which the Data Centers still have a lot to say.
