Data Center Infrastructure Management - DCIM

As we where seeing in earlier posts, a data center needs a lot of infrastructure including hardware and software and everything needs to work perfectly at almost every moment.

Imagine now working as a manager of a data center, or as a technician and something fail. First of all, how long will take you to notice there is a failure in the system ? How you will locate where is the problem ? How long will be the service or services unavailable?
