Oracle, Brocade & Checkpoint

Hi buddies !

Today I will show you the solutions of the companies we have chosen to design a Data Center.

Oracle

This titan of database software and technology, engineered systems and cloud enterprise software products has its own section for a data centers.

Their software highly linked to its hardware at any layer makes this jewel reduce the cost and complexity of servers allowing simple data storage and server connections.

Oracle offers different sections:

  • Oracle EDR InfiniBand Fabric include multi-tenant security, software-defined networking (SDN), virtual network services, and fully virtualized I/O services.
  • Oracle Virtual Networking virtualize your SAN and LAN infrastructure by defining connectivity in software, giving you the flexibility and agility you need for the cloud.
  • Ethernet Networking deliver fabric and connectivity between Oracle's servers, storage, and applications, enabling the convergence and high performance required in the virtualized data center at dramatically low cost.

Brocade

Originally known for its leadership in Fibre Channel storage networks. Now offers routers and switches optimized for data center.

Brocade offers two options:

  • Brocade VCS Fabric Technology with MLX Series routers and VDX switches will give to your network highly scalable infrastructure with extensive security and ease of management.
  • Brocade CER/S take advantage of the cost-effective so this solution will address multiple market segments.

Checkpoint 

An international provider of software and combined hardware and software products for IT security.

Checkpoint does not offer completely data center solutions but it does offers means of protection such as firewalls.
