The first Corporate Entrepreneurship Workshop takes off

La Salle Technova, Barcelona's Chamber of Commerce and Caixa Bank had started a cycle of meetings on corporate entrepreneurship. These three companies wanted to promote a space to talk about the importance of innovation and how they can be connected with tech startups or small enterprises.

The first conference was held on February 7, 2018 at DayOne. The keynote speaker was the General Director of Corporate Services and Venture Capital of Sorigué, Alex Pardo. Pardo explained the success case of Sorigue, when they decided to invest in a startups diversification project. "To date we have 21 investments or direct investments in CLEANTECH. Basically, we use artificial intelligence to provide us with better service as a company. "

Sorigué is a business group dedicated to Technology, Services, Engineering, Construction and Materials. In addition, the president of La Salle Technova and president of the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP), Josep Piqué focused his speech on open innovation, business models on new technologies, as well as on the phases of project evolution.

Carlos Gramunt, Territorial Director of Barcelona's  CaixaBank, in addition to opening the day, spoke about the new center "DayOne" of the Condal City, which was conceived as a "hub" for meetings of talent and capital.
