La Salle-URL hosts the 9th Iberian Conference on Systems and Information Technology

In June,  La Salle Campus Barcelona URL hosted  the ninth edition of the Iberian Conference on Information Systems and Information Technologies (CISTI). More than 100 academics have participated in this technical-scientific annual event, which aims to present and discuss knowledge, new perspectives, experiences and innovations in the field of systems and information technology. The opening ceremony counted with the intervention of the General Director of Telecommunications of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Catalan Government), Mr. Jordi Puigneró. The official opening ceremony was also attended by the President of the Iberian Association of Systems and Information Technology, Dr. Álvaro Rocha; the general director of our university center, Josep M. Santos; the Vice-Dean of the ETSAB of the Polytechnic University of Catalunya, Dr. Ernest Redondo; the President of the scientific committee of the CISTI 2014 and, Dr. David Fonseca and  the Rector of the Open University La Salle, Dr. Lluís Vicent. Articles accepted and published in the CISTI 2014 are available in the  Xplore  digital library and the  Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and will be sent  for indexing in  EBSCO Academy Search, Engineering Index  (EI), Institution of Engineering and Technology (INSPEC),Information Sciences Institute  (ISI) and  SCOPUS.
