Requiem for a QoS, HP solution for Data Center Quality of Service

In DataCenter we principally use QoS for Fiber Channel requeriments.

In order to consolidate the SAN and the LAN we have decided use FCoE and Fiber Channels and this solution needs the  use of Data Center Bridging (DBC), and HP uses this solution as default solution for  FCoE in the HP FlexFabic data center architecture. 

This converged solution allows us the reducition of the CAPEX and OPEX expenses, and allowing the same performance of the separated solution of a Fiber Channel network and a LAN, and the reliability required by a bank.
