What’s up Guys & Girls?

Today I will talk you about Data Center. This name can afraid a bit, but don’t worry ESAIP DC is here to help you understand what it is!

A Data Center is a center where we can find the company’s equipment and information system – for example servers, networks or telecommunication equipment. This kind of center is a high priority value for company, and has to be controlled every time to prevent disaster (fire for example). Of course, there are also different ways to put electricity in some emergency, and obviously air conditioners cause of the heat generated by the servers…

For our case here, we need a Data Center for a bank. Our Data Center will have to stock information about the activity of the bank.

Before starting construction, we have to think about the needs we have. Our goal is to “[Think] about Data Center Solutions”. We have to plan:

  • Capacity
  • Availability
  • Scalability

Of course, the budget is an important factor for the construction, and resources (electricity, air-conditioning, …). Cause of the fact that some transfers could contain come critical information, we have to implement a high security for the software and for the hardware.
