ARC at the 19th Congress of Archiving and Document Management of Catalonia

Álvaro Sicilia presented a paper during the recent 19th Congress of Archiving and Document Management of Catalonia. The event, which took place in Sant Cugat del Vallès from 4 to 6 May, brought together more than 300 professionals from all over the country and 15 international presentations.

During his presentation, Álvaro focused on the use of innovative tools for the management of data of the built stock. One of the main tools that stood out was Open Sant Cugat, a platform that integrates the data generated by the municipal departments of the City Council of Sant Cugat del Vallès with the data provided by public bodies. This integration of data allows for closer collaboration between technicians from different departments and citizens and businesses.

Álvaro also presented the ongoing Retabit project, which aims to develop a platform for the design and monitoring of energy reform plans for the built stock of the municipalities. This initiative is key to addressing the challenges of sustainability and energy efficiency and promotes the use of cutting-edge technologies to improve resource management.
