A group of students from La Salle-URL, the only Spanish representative in the Robocup 2014

A student of the Degree in Electronics Engineering  from  La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL  visited the TV3 program Espai Terra  to present  the robot Reem's participation in the global robotics competition Robocup 2014. Chang Long Zhu is part of the group of four students from La Salle-URL who have been working for a year to program Reem. The goal is to compete in the Home category of Robocup 2014, in which participating robots must solve similar situations to those that may occur in a real human environment. The software developed by the students seeks for robots to help people in domestic environments: carry objects or facing and overcoming emergencies by using the most advanced technologies in robotics and artificial intelligence among others. The Reem@LaSalle  team composed by Cristina, Roger, Sergi and Chang is the only representative from Spain that will participate in this international competition in robotics that taking place in Brazil in July from 19th to 25th.
