La Salle – URL taking part of the Open Innovation Event in Brussels

An Open Innovation Event framed within the Nirvana Project took place during the 20th and the 21st of April in the city of Brussels, Belgium. This event brought together researchers and professionals from different European countries to discuss on different topics related to Innovation. Specifically, the event was developed around three main blocks: A user experience simulation with the Nirvana platform, a breakfast/seminar with experts from the industry and academia, and a training in Open Innovation for SMEs. Dr. Carla Riverola and Zelu Zhang from the Innova Institute, attended and participated in this event. During the breakfast session they gave a talk on “Open Innovation Strategies”, and in the afternoon they conducted two training sessions entitled “OI barriers and feedback on OI platforms” and “OI skills for managers”. This events represent a big opportunity to share experiences and best practices in Open Innovation Management, as well as creating important networking spaces for future collaborative projects between the participant organizations.
