A research project from La Salle R&D displayed at Centre d'Art Santa Mònica
The project "Toca bits" (touch bites) developed by researchers from the Department of Engineering at La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL participated in the exhibition "Digital 4C". On February 27th and 28th Centre d'Art Santa Monica in Barcelona displayed one of the most emblematic projects developed by the research group Seamless Interaction from La Salle R&D. The responsible for the Project, Dr. David Miralles, explains that "the digital world (the bits) and the tangible world (the atoms) are perceived in non related levels. However, it is possible to establish relationships that allow bringing these different natures closer. "The project "Toca los bits" presents original interaction models that allow more tangible new relationships with digital information. The exhibition organized by the Generalitat de Catalunya (the Catalan Government) offers us a look at the digital future from the culture. This event coincided with the end of the Mobile World Congress celebrated in Barcelona.
