La Salle-URL collaborates with the Generalitat de Catalunya to improve the competitiveness of the self-employed

Next March 31st is the deadline to register for the  100% subsidized courses on personalized mentoring and business management training targeted to self-employed people with minimum of one year and a maximum of 5 years experience. The Department of Business and Employment of the Generalitat de Catalunya (the Catalan Government) has selected La Salle-URL to launch a pilot program to help the consolidation of self-employment in Catalonia. Our university, along with another 8 institutions, will participate in a program that aims to be a tool to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of self-employed workers in Catalonia. With a budget of 550,000 euros, this action will benefit about 600 self-employed. The initiative has established two types of programs designed to help the self-employed to overcome the main problems they currently find: business management training activities and advice and support to self-employed in credit negotiation processes.
