La Salle-URL offers a sustainable architecture course for high school teachers

La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL will give a course on sustainable architecture to high school teachers specialized in science. This course is part of the program "Professors i ciència" (Teachers and Science) driven by Catalunya-La Pedrera Foundation, allowing about 400 high school teachers to receive specific training in different research centers in Catalonia. The course "sustainable architecture and energy efficiency" is aimed to teachers of the physics and technology field with an interest to expand their knowledge in architecture, sustainability and renewable energies. For two days the teachers will receive training with educational materials and specific exercises that may be transferred to the classroom. This initiative of the Catalunya-La Pedrera Foundation not only aims for the specialization of high school teachers, but also aims to raise the entrepreneurial spirit of young students and to stimulate their scientific careers. Sustainable architecture and energy efficiency Friday 30th May from 3.30pm to 7.30pm Saturday 31st May from 10am to 14pm Attendance to both sessions is necessary. (A total of 8h) Vacancies:  24 Course is open to all high school teachers interested in participating.
