La Salle Universities launches the 6th Edition of the International contest for pre-universitary social projects
La Salle schools in Europe celebrate the 6th edition of the LSdreams contest this year, an international competition aimed at pre-universitary studets between 16 and 22 years of age from La Salle education centres in Europe and Middle East, 72 of them in Spain. The main goal is to include ethical values in the development of research projects that improve the social environment. LSdreams intends to transmit values to students that are inherent to La Salle, such as team work, innovation, creativity and problem solving, At the same time, it intends to promote career paths in the areas of knowledge in which they develop their projects: Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, Health, and this year it includes Life and Earth Sciences. Students who wish to participate need to focus their Project on the improvement of their surrounding environment and get organized in groups of three students. Each one of these groups is supervised by a tutor of the centre who will guide and help them through the process. Another new aspect of this edition is that it offers the possibility of participating in cooperation with another team from a different school in a modality called LSdreams collaborative project. Inscription is now open until the 8th November, in the official website of the Project: http://lsdreams.lasalleuniversities.net/
