The Drawit project has been developed in the Research Group in Media Technologies of La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL within the group Seamless Interaction directed by David Miralles, co - author of the project. With Drawit, starting from a blank sheet in a Tablet, the user is able to draw the objects he or she wants to interact with and adapt it to his or her needs. Drawit aims to create a seamless interaction and has the will to transcend the screen in order to reinterpret the relationship between objects and people. Thus, it is possible to achieve a more human and direct interaction through a visual language, putting aside the common interfaces and functionalities. Additionally, a research paper about the project, written by David Miralles and Marc Expósito will be presented in California next week at CHI Congress, the most important at world level on the relationship between Man-Machine. From the Research Group in Media Technologies of La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL they have emphasized, "We are very proud to receive this award, which recognizes the efforts and good work of our research group full of students. It is an honour to be the only university outside the US, and we hope that this would set a precedent and inspire people around the world. This award validates how being able to think beyond what is established, imagining new tools that have an impact on the lives of users, is essential for progress in the world ", commented Marc Expósito and David Miralles.
