Audiovisual Cluster from Catalunya and La Salle-URL joint efforts to boost the audiovisual industry

The Audiovisual Cluster from Catalunya (CAC) and La Salle Campus Barcelona- URL have recently signed an agreement to boost cooperation within the audiovisual sector.

One of the main purposes of this agreement is to strengthen relations between media companies and university center , leveraging the synergies between industry and scientific research . Xavier Guitart, manager of the CAC,  and Josep M. Santos, CEO of La Salle Campus Barcelona- URL, formalized the agreement at a ceremony held at the university . 

Coinciding with this event , breakfast-conference was held, examinating the business opportunities presented by this area. Digital content distribution and methods to monetize new habits have focused the debate moderated by the catalan journalist Antoni Bassas, in which participated: Josep Monleón (content director of WuakiTV), Bernat Aragones (director of postproduction Apuntolapospo), Ferran Clavell (Innovation and Future responsible from the Catalan Corporation of Audiovisual Media),  and Dr. Francesc Alías (Human- Computer Interaction area director at La Salle R&D).
