BIM & Co is developing the Onfly, a "BIM level 3" content management platform that allows AEC companies to manage and connect their BIM objects and data, to save time in conception and improve their management.
Onfly is the "BIM level 3" content management platform. It allows AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) companies to manage and connect their BIM objects and data, to save time in conception and improve their management.
Each building is composed of thousands of products: windows, installation equipment, finishes ..., therefore be duplicated in BIM objects, which are the data containers of the digital model.
Onfly is a management tool for the private BIM library, generic objects and manufacturer content. It provides a radical change compared to existing solutions, which only manage files. It manages the data separately from the geometry, which allows data processing in the model. In addition to this, Onfly has a content harmonization technology to standardize the properties of a BIM object so that they are understandable by all those interested in all the software. Finally, Onfly maintains a dynamic link between the object of the library and the digital models. This allows companies to capitalize on project after project, save time in the design and execution phases for the next project, reduce errors, perform calculations more quickly, document projects to better operate buildings, accelerate and expedite exchanges with suppliers, or even choose the best product the project needs. This frees up time for teams to concentrate on their core business: build better, faster and more economically.
