The Conference of Philosophy and Artificial Intelligence takes place
Neurite Lab, a startup located at La Salle Technova, which provides software solutions to transform data into useful knowledge, participated in organizing the conference on philosophy and artificial intelligence.
On November 27th and 28h, Francisco Battlle, director Neurite Lab, Carles Llinàs, dean of the Faculty of Philosophy of Catalonia and Xavier Vilasís, director of the Data Science for the Digital Society of La Salle URL, organized the recently mentioned conference.
The objective was to use the long experience of philosophy in the management of dissensions and divergences to discuss with specialists in risk and border areas of knowledge about the challenges presented by artificial intelligence.
The idea is that the interaction of scientific-technological and philosophical perspectives may suggest new ways of responding to the challenges posed.
The two days were separated by three sessions, transhumanism and artificial intelligence, Relationship of philosophy with Artificial intelligence and the ethics of intelligence.
