Data literacy: the new language of data

Since the beginning of the pandemic, we have been bombarded with data and graphs, but ironically, the constant supply of statistics and information has completely overwhelmed us and has overwhelmed most people's ability to understand and make informed decisions with data. And why does that happen? Mainly because both in companies and in society there is a low level of data literacy, which leads us to not understand and not have critical thinking with the data we read, or in other words ask ourselves questions about it. The PhD candidate Ignasi Alcalde (under the tutorship of Prof. Dr. Xavier Vilasís) proposes a critical analysis of the new language of the data.
