Example of successful content marketing strategies

 

Content marketing is one of the most important and relevant strategies used today in order attract traffic and create a long lasting asset along with your business , your brand. Once your customers recognize you and your brand, you’re in for long term success. 

According to Zazzle media, 60% of the companies struggle to create content consistently and 65% find it hard to make it engaging enough. That’s why in the next article we show some examples, of how a successful content marketing campaign looks like.

But before beginning we have to mention that there is many different types of marketing in the internet, such as blogging, social media marketing, visual content marketing etc. 

Now, onto the examples: 

First we talk about how Buffer

A software application that helps businesses and individuals to manage their social media accounts in a more easy, and friendly manner. Buffer, ran a content marketing strategy, that involved writing many articles, having guests writers, and publishing their content in high visible sites, a growth hack that helped gain their first 100’000 users to their platform.

Then, there is Hubspot

A company that offer a tools for sales, marketing in order to grow their business.  The company used a blogging content marketing strategy, that was using in depth articles aimed to the issues that their users were encountering.

They also created an educational program that lures 321K users monthly to their website, which is a great opportunity to promote their services and certifications. 

Social Media Content Marketing: 

GE 
The Appliances and machinery giant, ran a social media content marketing strategy that got many eyeballs on their products and their company. The company focused in B2B (Business to Business). 

The company got many influencers, superfans and a custom hashtag and some time later, they were amassing about 8 million views in the GE insta account, 3000 new organic followers and a reach of 3 millions per visits the social media influencers who visited.
