Experience in Tecniacústica 2013

In early October, from the 2nd to 4th of October, the 44th Spanish Congress in Acoustics (Tecniacústica’13) was held in Valladolid. I attended the event as master student of La Salle thanks to a grant received by the Spanish Acoustics Society (SEA).

I had the opportunity to presented a part of my final project related with noise traffic prediction (full text is available here). The experience was really fulfilling. Every day there was a large set of oral presentations where each of us could attend. Master students, PhD students, teachers, etc presented their advances in acoustics field.

During the whole congress, some companies showed their new devices in stands where you could go and try these new products.

Furthermore, the social part of the congress offered a unique opportunity for meeting young people from different places, mostly from Spain but from Europe too. Most of them are studying or working in the acoustics field and we could share some knowledge, attend to some parties and have a nice time together.
