GTM participates in the first Open Innovation Challenge for a Smart and Sustainable Andorra

The Open Innovation Challenge for a Smart and Sustainable Andorra, organised by Actua, has been held in Escaldes-Engordany for three days and bringing together more than 70 international experts in the field of innovation.

From 14 to 18 January, professionals from Actua, l'Observatori de Sostenibilitat, Taipei Tech, MIT MediaLab, HFN Hamburg University and La Salle- URL, among others, presented several research and innovation projects in which they are working in the fields of energy and urbanism, mobility and tourism and commerce.

Rosa Ma Alsina, coordinator in the Signal Processing area of the GTM, participated in the challenge presenting the methodology and the results of the LIFE DYNAMAP project and also the preliminary results of the identification of the sound landscape of heavily trafficked points of Andorra la Vella and Escaldes Engordany. 

Based on the results, different projects and initiatives will be defined that allow Actua to continue working together with the citizens and the business community on different innovation challenges, in order to carry it out under innovation projects.
