Plenary meeting of CELTIC Engines project held in CTMedia - La Salle

The plenary meeting of the CELTIC project ENGINES (Enabling Next GeneratIon NEtworks for broadcast Services) has been held on the 25th and 26th of May 2010 in La Salle premises. The project, that aims to constituting a Task Force to support development of the Digital Video Broadcasting, focusses mainly its work in the verification and validation of new DVB-T2 standard as well as the coming DVB-NGH (Next Generation Hanheld). The project partners are Abertis Telecom (Spain), Åbo Akademi University Turku (Finland), Asociación de Investigación y Cooperación Industrial de Andalucía (Spain), BBC (United Kingdom),  Centre National d'Etudes Spatiales (France), Dibcom (France), Digita Oy (Finland), Digialist (Finland), Elektrobit Group Plc., (Finland), France Telecom (France), INSA-IETR (France), Media Broadcast (Germany), Mier Communications (Spain), Mitsubishi ITE-TCL (France), Nokia (Finland), RAI (Italy), TDF (France), TeamCast (France), Telecom Bretagne (France), Teleste (Finland), Teracom (Sweden), Thomson Grass Valley (France), TUAS (Finland), Tampere University of Technology (Finland), Universidad del País Vasco (Spain), University of Turku (Finland) Universitat Ramon Llull-La Salle (Spain), Universidad Politécnica de Valencia (Spain). The participation of La Salle in the project is conducted by the digital TV area on the CTMedia and consists on the development of the transmitter gateway of the future broadcasting systems.
