New DEA presented: Bipolar Laddering (BLA): subjective exploration psychological techniques applied on User Experience field

A new DEA (Advanced Studies Diploma) was successfully presented last June 28th 2010 within the research group on Media Technologies, in the area of Usability and User experience, by the PhD candidate Marc Pifarré , here there is a summary of his research: BLA (Bipolar Laddering) method has been designed from a Socratic paradigm basis for obtaining subtle information about products and services that would be hard to find trough classical usability methods. This model is characterized by obtaining the information from the user itself, not only from the observation of his behaviour. Contrarily to the classic usability methodology, the user and the facilitator are working together defining relevant factors of the product and co-creating new concepts.
