PhD student Xavier Valero appointed vice-chair of the Young Acousticians Network

Last 7th February, in the annual board meeting celebrated in Aachen (Germany), our PhD student Xavier Valero was appointed vice-chair of the Young Acousticians Network (YAN). The YAN is a non-profit student initiative within the European Acoustics Association (EAA). Its primary goal is to establish a community for young researchers in the field of acoustics, to connect them and to provide support.  It is mainly addressed to PhD students, master students and post-docs, but also to young scientists and engineers working on acoustics. Furthermore, the EAA YAN aims at integrating the associations of young acousticians within European countries, providing opportunities for international discussion, study and work. From CTMedia La Salle, we support this initiative and invite all students in acoustics to join the YAN!
