Startup Europe launches a new knowledge platform

La Salle Technova makes part of ScaleUp Champions, one of the projects shared in this platform

The Startup Europe, the European Commission’s startup initiative, is launching its new website http://startupeuropeclub.eu/  responding to the urgent need for a common knowledge platform for startups, investors and institutions. To further catalyse this process, Startup Europe is also launching seven new European ecosystem builder projects (B-HUB FOR EUROPE, INNODEC, MediaMotorEurope, ScaleUp Champions, Scaleup4Europe,  STARTUP 3, XEurope) to accompany startups as they encounter obstacles to their growth and all these projects will be available at this new web.

La Salle Technova is participating of the ScaleUp champions project that aims to build equalising opportunities of scaling up for startups across five countries represented through the partners of the consortium: Technical University of Denmark (Skylab), Denmark, Kauno Science and Technologų Park (Kaunas STP), Lithuania, Foundation Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol (Tehnopol), Estonia, Poznan Science and Technology Park (PPNT), Poland and us representing Spain. The main activities targeting are corporate-startup collaboration, investment readiness and internationalisation.

Created in 2011, Startup Europe has the mission to support the digital single market by building a healthy ecosystem that allows startups across the EU to scale their businesses. Through its projects, this European Commission initiative directly supports around 60 local ecosystems, encourages startup creation and growth, and connects startups, investors, accelerators and universities. Startup Europe has also mobilised tech entrepreneurs and helps make their voices heard in EU policymaking, raising political awareness of the crucial role entrepreneurs play in creating growth.
