TIMEPAC 2019
TIMEPAC2019 will offer researchers, policy makers, ESCOs, energy consultants, and other professionals involved in the energy efficiency and assessment of buildings, the opportunity to exchange ideas and knowledge, share research outputs and best practices as well as to extend the cooperation network. The two half-day programme is structured in three sessions dedicated to capture and visualization of data for building energy assessment; analysis of data and development of innovative services for industry and public administrations; and enhancement of building energy assessment with data from multiple sources.
Each session will start with a keynote speech. Mr. Patrik Kolar, from the EU Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, will introduce the current EU policies concerning the energy performance assessment and certification of buildings; Per Heiselberg, from the Faculty of Engineering and Science of the Aalborg University, Denmark, will discuss the potential of analysing monitored data to improve the energy efficiency of residential buildings; and David Weatherall, Head of Policy at the Energy Saving Trust, UK, will deal with the development of new services to foster building renovation.
Fourteen representatives of research groups, public administrations and private companies will present and discuss their most recent work in the field of building energy assessment, including, among other issues: the use of BIM as a tool for energy assessment; the creation of new business models based on the integration of building energy data; the adoption of retrofitting strategies following the analysis of building monitoring; the implementation of deep renovation programmes for social housing; and the enhancement of building energy certificates with other data sources to foster building retrofitting programme.
