Last week La Salle hosted the annual board meeting of the Young Acousticians Network (YAN), where several matters of the interest of young acousticians were discussed.

The YAN is a non-profit initiative supported by the European Acoustics Association (EAA) whose primary goal is to establish a community for young researchers and young professionals in the field of Acoustics.  The YAN offers services such as:

  • Monthly newsletter
  • Mailing list with job offer posting
  • Discussion forum
  • Agenda of events
  • Organization of events at scientific conferences
