La Salle Festival 2015: Day 3.
For more information about the festival week, check out the Student Council or the Social Club on Facebook.
Today, the festival started off at 10:00, when the 12 hour woman's football tournament began.
At the same time, "Open Bloc" climbing began. Unfortunately the climbers only got a few hours of fun today, the activities got stopped at midday due to the rain!
The Sallethylics began, like on Monday, at 11:00 AM. Also today there were 15 teams participating, and luckily for all the participants the event finished before it started raining.
The rain did not prove to be a stopper for the International Food and Culture day! Today this event was hosted during the festival week for the third time, and once again it was a huge success. Argentina, Brazil, Germany, Colombia, Mexico, Norway, Panama, Peru, Turkey, United States of America and Venezuela were represented by stands where traditional food from each country was sold. The stands also showed the flag and some basic information about the food culture, as well as traditional decorations.
The rain could not defy the enthusiastic spinners! There were two spinning master classes today, and the bikes were moved outside to the football pitches for the participants to enjoy the weather..
We hope you enjoyed the day, and that you are getting ready for yet another eventful day. Below you can see the program for tomorrow:
