Carina Trippl, winner of the best poster at LHCP 2024
The 12th edition of the Large Hadron Collider Physics (LHCP) conference took place from June 3 to 7, 2024, at Northeastern University in Boston, USA. This crucial event provided a space to discuss the latest advancements in particle physics and explore future research directions.
The LHCP 2024 program highlighted key findings from LHC Run 2, initial insights from Run 3, and discussions on various topics, from the Standard Model to high luminosity upgrades. In the poster session, Carina Trippl, a postdoc from La Salle, Universitat Ramon Llull, was one of the five winners of the best poster award with her work titled “LHCb SciFi Tracker and Future Upgrades.” Her presentation stood out for its meticulous design, energy, and clarity, impressing the judges amidst strong competition.
