Fab Lab at La Salle schools. Let's start walking ...!

Still with the excitement of successfully completing the pilot training we have done to professors of La Salle to form a first Fab Lab space in this network of schools.

This pilot training, called FabLab@Schools La Salle and under the project EduEnginy of Salle Campus BCN, it has consisted of 24 teaching hours distributed in 6 sessions between May and June 2019, made between Salle Congrés and Fab Lab BCN IAAC. It has been focused on basic aspects of Fab Lab's tools and the Maker culture, as well as in the conceptualization of a Fab Lab space in La Salle Congress, co-created among teachers, trainers and students. Precisely this center has decided to make a strong commitment to innovate its old electronic laboratory and transform it into a Fab Lab.

The Fab Lab space is not conceptualized in isolation, but rather it looks to bean oil stain in other La Salle centers and involves a change of culture in the center's teachers who will use it. We seek the empowerment of teachers in the use of the Fablab space through co-creation of space and through quality and disruptive training.
