CTMedia approaches Future Media Delivery Patforms at ICT2010

Last September 29th, the Center of Technologies for Media (CTMedia) La Salle organized a networking session on Future Media Delivery Platforms within the ICT2010 event held in Brussels. The ICT 2010 event is the place to be to discover Europe's exciting and ground-breaking developments in ICT. It gathers more than 5000 researchers, innovators and influencers who will focus on policy priorities such as Europe's Digital Agenda and the 2011-2012 financial programme (€2.8 billion) of the European Union for funding research and innovation in ICT.
Gabriel Fernandez, director of CTMedia, was the chairman of the networking session entitled "Future Media Delivery Platforms" where the different stakholders of the media sector discussed about the future directions of the delivery of media. The invited speakers to the panel, Ralf Neudel (Institut für Rundfunk Technik, IRT), Malte Behrmann (European Games Developer Federation, EGDF) and Christophe Diot (Technicolor) introduced very interstengly the topic to the audience. The panel ended with a very interesting discussion about the role of ISPs and broadcasters in the media delivery chain.
