CTMedia La Salle presents 3D Avatars in MAC 2010

CTMedia La Salle has been presenting in the Catalan Audiovisual Market (MAC) 2010, held in Granollers (Barcelona) on 26-27th May 2010,  the first results of its new development on 3D virtual avatars. The presented system can create 3D avatars from simple 2d images and make them speech expressively from text. This is the first prototype of an ongoing development, resulting from a joint research on Text-to-Speech technologies, 3D computer animation and computer vision conducted in CTMedia.
