Participation in the CINAIC23 congress

From 18 to 20 October 2023, the VII edition of the International Congress on Innovation, Learning and Cooperation (CINAIC) was held at the School of Mining and Energy Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In this edition, Dr. David Fonseca participated as a member of the organisation, president of the Social Action Committee, and took part in the plenary session on AI applied to education. In addition, Dr. Mónica V. Sánchez-Sepúlveda, and professors David Simón, Selene Caro and Dr. Fonseca himself, presented several papers related to funded projects, respectively:

• "Exploring the Convergence of Sustainable Mobility and GIS data Prcessing in Urbanism Education and Research" (Project funded by Acciona Conecta and Ajuntament de Barcelona, call 2022);
• "Self-regulation of learning in the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. Student perspective as an agent of change" (Project funded by Aristos Campus Mundus, call 2023),
• "The use of robotics to improve the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)" (Project funded under the call 2022 "Proyectos de Generación de Conocimiento", Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Spanish Government),
• ​"Open Educational Resources to Enhance Student's Data Protection in Schools" (Project funded under the 2022 call, Erasmus + KA220).
