Robotics Workshops Sector Catalunya

On November 22 and 23, the last of the three planned training sessions for kindergarten and primary school teachers from La Salle schools in the Catalunya Sector was held.
Within the NCA (New Context of Learning) framework, teachers have been trained in computational thinking for both the infant stage (P4 and P5) and for the 6 years of Primary Education.

In this training, different concepts and approaches to computational thinking are worked on, as well as practicing with different technologies, such as code.org, Scratch Jr, and Scratch.
The training in the NCA Robotics Workshops, beyond the discipline itself, has a deeper pedagogical approach, taking into account, for example, the STEAM philosophy (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) or the 4 C's (Cooperation, Communication, Creativity and Critical Thinking).

That is why all this training fits perfectly with the CreaSteam Project where La Salle Campus Barcelona is one of its main promoters.
