A presentation of the Social Club

Today I went to have a talk with the members of the Social Club. The Social Club used to go under the name "Student council", but this year the group became an official La Salle entity, and  had to change the name. The Social Club consists of 11 members, from Spain, Norway, Germany, India, Ecuador and Morocco, and they  all work together to enhance the social aspects of campus. The group is focusing on the students in the international program, but they also organize events to include other people.

Social Club LS organize parties and other events, and aim to make sure that campus life does not get boring. The club gives students the opportunity to meet each other outside the classroom, and to get to know students from other classes. The events are also a great way for the exchange students to get integrated. Earlier this week I summarized the events the club has arranged so far this year, and there is much more to come. In January, they will arrange a bowling tournament. In addition to this, they plan to repeat the popular BBQ, as well as sport tournaments. The club will also try to organize a trip to Andorra that will take place after the final exams of this semester. Currently, the club is planning a Christmas dinner. The details are still to be ironed out, but you should definitely make sure you don't have any plans for the evening of the 12th of December. To stay up to date on what the club is working on, you should like their Facebook page:
