Bachelors at Global Sports Forum

La Salle's bachelors not only go to class and enjoy wandering around Barcelona. In addition to that, they have unique chances to test their skills as young future managers. One of the lastest was the Global Sports Forum. BES La Salle Bachelors students collaborated in the organization of the Global Sports Forum Barcelona held from 25-27 March 2009. Leading figures from the world of professional sports, the sports industry, government actors and academia discussed the key challenges facing the world of sports in society. Issues discussed included strategic responses to the financial crisis; the relationship between sport and the environment; social responsibility in the sports sector; the role of media in sport; ethics, sport and health, among others. A group of 14 BES La Salle Bachelors students specialising in sports management worked with Havas Media and Havas Sport and Entertainment in the communication of the events as they unfolded at the Forum, obtaining a valuable firsthand insight into the industry and some of its key players. Well done, guys! More news: Claudio di Gregorio is now engaged in a challenging project: a specialized group about management software.  Next week you'll meet Monica McCoy, our new bachelor blogger.  Hope to see you soon!
