Barcelona International Motor Show 2009

Good evening fellow readers! :) Hope you all had a great weekend. I thought I would take some time to write about the International Motor Show going on in Barcelona for the 35th time. The show started May 9th and is going on until Sunday May 17th. The first couple of days the show was only open for the press and professional visitors and officially opened its doors to the public on Saturday. The event is taking place at the Montjuic Exhibition Centre - Fira Barcelona, which is right next to Placa Espanya. If you are interested in cars and everything within that sector the tickets are only 10 euros and tickets are sold at ServiCaixa. Some of the products available at this fair are:

  • Motor vehicles
  • Commercial vehicles and vans
  • Equipment for customising motor vehicles
  • Spare parts, components and accessories
  • Car audio equipment, telephones and alarms
  • Oil companies
  • Lubricants, additives and chemical products
  • Tyres
  • Pit zone and dynamic vehicle trials (4x4)
  • Technical press

With over 50 different commercial cars and tons of other products on display, The fair is open from 10-20 (Mon-Thurs) and 10-19 (Fri-Sat) This is definitely worth the trip! The exhibitions are awesome and especially for all those motor enthusiasts out there! Hop on the L3 or L1 to Placa Espanya and enjoy the show ladies and gents.
