From the Airport to the City

DSC_0701_FWelcome to BCN! You arrive at the Airport in Barcelona and have no clue what is the best way to get to the city! You can ask a friend to pick you up, the best option, but of course you might not have a friend waiting for you. If so, you can either take a Taxi by standing in the line or take the Aerobus. The taxi will cost you from 20 to 30 Euros, depending on where you go and how many suitcases you have. They will charge an airport tax and will add 3-4 euros per suitcase. It should take you more or less 30 minutes to get into the city – smooth easy fair. On the other hand, with a 4 euros budget you can take the Aerobus. When you get out from the airpot you'll see the bus stop, usually there's a long waiting line, but the bus arrives quickly. You go in, pay and put your suitcase ito the trunk. It stops twice, once in Plaça Espanya and once again in Plaça Catalunya. Plaça Catalunya being the hub of metro lines (underground ), you can get anywhere easily from there. Plaça Espanya is also well connected. Although I never did, there's still another possibility: to take the train from the airport to the city and get off at Sants, França or Paseo de Gracia. Your best choice will depend on where you live and how much you appreciate the comfort of a taxi. Each of these 3 means will bring you to and from the airport easily. I think the best value for money is probably Aerobus, though. Enjoy Your Stay!
