Poster LHcB

The poster presents an overview of the new trigger system of the LHCb detector at CERN. This system is in charge of making a reduction of the data volume generated by the detector in order to be stored. To optimize the quality of the stored data, the trigger system uses a set of reconstruction and selection algorithms that take into account the physical alignment and parameter calibration of all of the sub-detectors in quasi-real-time. Among the different algorithms, the calorimeter reconstruction has been recently updated to a new algorithm called Calo Graph Clusteing that maintains the same efficiency but improves the reconstruction time by 65% on average.
