A tip suggested by David Dimas: What to do when you come to Barcelona for the first time?

My Spanish friend/classmate David gave us some insides of what to do in Barcelona if you've just arrived for the first time. He is a local here and he has lots friends from all over the world too so he knows where the best places are! " I would recommend you a whole journey...take a breakfast at "Mercat de la Boqueria", go to the beach (Bogatell), visit all the cultural stuff you are interested in, go for a meal at "Barceloneta Restaurant" and enjoy eating a nice paella. During the afternoon, walk around Paseo de Gracia, do some shopping and have a beer at the Born district. Have dinner at Hotel la Florida, go for a drink at Mirabé and finish your day with a great party at Opium." I've been to all these places and I must say gonig there once is not enough.
