About the blogger and the blog

Hello everyone, I have been given the opportunity to write in this blog and would like to first introduce myself.   My name is Monica, I'm 21 years old and I am half American and half Honduran.  I lived almost six years in Stuttgart, Germany and my family still lives there.  I will be graduating from La Salle with my degree in Bachelor in Business Studies and Bachelor in International Relations in 2010.   So I have been living and studying in Barcelona for three years and have learned and experienced a great deal.  My flat-mate is Spanish-American, so she has helped me better understand Spanish culture and how things work here.  Through this blog I will share my knowledge and experiences to answer questions and address concerns you may have about studying and living in Barcelona.   When moving to a new city, or country, you have a lot of decisions to make, like where to live, how to get from point A to point B, where to open a bank account, how to get your visa, etc.  Along with these living and studying aspects of Barcelona, this blog will also help you get the most out of the city, whether you are still deciding to move here or you are already here and want to know more! I really enjoy sharing my knowledge with you and hope you get something out of it! Cheers!
